Transoil 140 is a premium non-EP, API GL-1 certified SAE 140 gear oil created exclusively for use with veteran, vintage, and Edwardian gearboxes, transaxles, and certain spur and bevel type rear axles. It has no strong load-carrying additives that could cause corrosion damage to the ferrous and nonferrous metals utilised in these vehicles.

Application
Transoil 140 is ideal for manual transmissions and transaxles in veteran, vintage, and Edwardian vehicles.

Transoil 140 works well as a rear axle oil in most Edwardian, antique, and pre-war vehicles. It can also be used as gearbox oil, but it may be too heavy in some cases. This oil is compatible with both leather and synthetic rubber seals.

DO NOT use in axles with any type of hypoid gear.
