HPR 5 is a premium full synthetic SAE 5W-40 engine oil with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty and is fully licenced and authorised. It provides DOUBLE LAYER engine wear protection using FULL ZINC and Penrite's unique EXTRA TEN technology. It employs a combination of modern additive technology and a low shear rate viscosity modifier to provide further protection against wear, corrosion, oxidation, piston deposits, and sludge under harsh conditions.

HPR 5 is licenced by the API (American Petroleum Institute) to satisfy the most recent SP requirements, ensuring quality and satisfaction. It also outperforms the most recent European ACEA A3/B4 criteria, as well as JASO MA and many other manufacturer specs.

Application
HPR 5 is intended for usage in current four, six, and eight-cylinder multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged, and turbocharged engines.

HPR 5 is suggested for use in cars with SAE 5W-30, SAE 10W-30, or SAE 5W-40 engine oils as originally advised by the manufacturer. It can be used in conjunction with ACEA A3/B4 and preceding API specifications SN (2010-2020), SM (2004-10), SL (2001-04), and SJ (1998-2001). It is suitable for use in LPG and light-duty diesel engines that require API CF, ACEA A3/B3, or A3/B4. It can also be used to replace ILSAC GF-3, GF-4, and GF-5 grades of oil, as well as ACEA A1/B1 (Obsolete) and ACEA A5/B5 fuel economy oils. It is NOT advised for use in diesel vehicles equipped with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) that require an ACEA "C" grade Low-SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus, and Sulphur) engine oil.

HPR 5 is OEM certified for Mercedes-Benz vehicles with MB-Approval 229.5. It can also be used when BMW LongLife-01 and Porsche A40 are required, as well as in a variety of other applications that require a complete synthetic, petrol, or light duty diesel engine oil.

EXTRA TEN TECHNOLOGY
HPR 5 oil has Penrite's Extra Ten Technology, which improves wear protection, oil pressure, and consumption at operating temperatures. It adds an extra layer of protection to engines that are under heavy load, competing, operating in high ambient temperatures, or exhibiting indicators of excessive oil consumption.

Vehicle & Fuel Types
HPR 5 is ideal for use in passenger cars, 4WDs, light commercial vehicles, and four-stroke motorcycles with wet clutch systems. It works with petrol/LPG (Dual Fuel), E10, diesel, and other mainstream fuels. Can be utilised with E85 fuel for competition purposes. Penrite recommends changing the oil more frequently if using E85 fuel. Important information to remember when changing your oil.
