Classic Mini is a premium mineral, high zinc, SAE 20W-50 viscosity, API SJ/CE, GL-4 engine oil developed in collaboration with International Mini Clubs and owners in the UK and Australia for all historic Minis (Austin, BMC, and Leyland). It is designed to provide a great balance of engine protection and smooth gear transitions. Classic Mini features a high zinc anti-wear package for maximum engine wear prevention, as well as top quality base oils and additives that exceed the original manufacturer's standards for these vehicles.

Application
Classic Mini has been designed for use in Classic Minis from 1959 to 2000, when the engine and gearbox share the same oil. It is also compatible with other era automobiles such as the Mini Moke and the Austin Metro. Classic Mini can be used in derivatives, such as:

Austin 850, Austin Partner, Austin Mini, Austin Seven, Innocenti Mini, Leyland Mini, Mini Wildgoose, Morris 850, Morris Mascot, Morris Mini, Riley Elf, Rover Mini, Wolseley 1000, and Wolseley Hornet.

Classic Mini is also suitable for other combined engine/gearbox vehicles manufactured by Austin, BMC, and Leyland, such as Morris 1000S, 1300 Nomad, 1100, 1100S, 1500, and 1500 Nomad.

Classic Mini was developed expressly to replace older model 20W-40, 20W-50, or straight 30 grades that were previously used and mandated in these cars.
