Classic automotive Coolant is a Type "B" corrosion inhibitor concentration that is colourless, hybrid-organic, and non-glycol based. It is intended for use in veteran, Edwardian, vintage, and classic automotive cooling systems. It prevents corrosion, cavitation, scale, and oxidation. It is an effective engine coolant that employs a hybrid inhibitor to provide optimum corrosion protection while also delivering excellent heat transfer to drastically reduce engine operating temperatures.

Classic Car Coolant conforms to AS 2108-2004 Type B.

Application
Classic Car Coolant is appropriate for cooling systems in automotive, heavy-duty, stationary, industrial, and marine engines that do not require anti-freeze or anti-boil qualities. It can function as a traditional inhibitor in both older and newer automobiles.

Classic Car Coolant is designed for all water-cooled engines when high operating temperatures are an issue. The product's water-wetting properties help to lower the engine's running temperature, reducing harm from overheating.

Classic Car Coolant should be used at a concentration rate of 10% to 15% in demineralised water. Optimal protection is attained at a 12% dosage rate, with a change interval of *3 years.

Classic Car Coolant should be cycled after adding coolant to achieve complete wetting of all surfaces, especially if the engine will only be used sporadically.

While this product is not an antifreeze, it can be used to improve the corrosion resistance of pure ethylene or propylene glycol. The glycol concentration should range from 33% to 50%.

Dosage:

• 1 Litre treats up to 10 Litres of water.

• Optimal dosage is between 10% and 15%.

• Penrite recommends mixing with Penrite Demineralized Water.

Please Note:

• Do not mix with other Type B coolant inhibitors.

• This product cannot be tested with glycol coolant test strips due to misleading readings.

• For optimal results, flush the cooling system with Radiator Flush before filling with new Penrite coolant.
