Model A Camshaft

$660.00

The new camshaft has a lift of 0.340 inch and lobe separation of 113 degrees. It is made of nodular iron, which is the preferred material for almost all new engines. To reduce wear, the lobes are induction hardened to HRC 58/62, while the 5 bearings and centre gear are hardened to HRC 40/52 to prevent the gear teeth from becoming brittle.

Ford design A-6250 was used for all interfacing dimensions, and if the new camshaft is used with the Burtz "New Engine Kit," there will be 17 pressure supplied bearings rather than 16. The new camshaft is also compatible with all Model A, Model B, Russian GAZ, and German G28T engines.
